We treat all hand injuries
Our physiotherapists at Frenchs Forest and Macquarie Park are trained in treated hand injuries. Our Physiotherapy team have had training by accredited hand therapists and have worked in specialised hand units such including Royal North Shore Hospital’s Hand Unit. Hand Therapy is a specialised area due to the complex nature of the anatomy and the splinting that is required to treat these areas.

Application and removal of waterproof fiberglass casts.
Fabrication and fitting of custom made thermoplastic supports for the thumb and wrist.
Desensitisation techniques.
Strengthening and proprioceptive exercises for the wrist and hand.
Oedema and wound management.
